Who We Are

The Thank You Darlin’ Foundation (TYD) is a grassroots nonprofit organization committed to the advancement and well-being of at-risk youth. TYD was founded in 2002 and incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt entity on November 4, 2004.

Chicago, Illinois served as our initial base of operation until December 2004 when we relocated to Fort Worth, Texas. In 2006, TYD introduced its poetry program to students in the premier Keller, Texas Independent School District. Since then, TYD has expanded from serving a handful of students annually, to serving over one hundred and fifty. Most of the students we serve attend an elementary, middle or high school located in Fort Worth’s low-income neighborhoods.
